IMAGE Survey: Before using the Employability Toolkit

(this survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete)

Participant Information Sheet

Thank you for taking part in our evaluation study. This document contains information about this study and the wider research project.
About the project
The Erasmus+ funded IMAGE project aims to improve the employability prospects of higher education students and graduates on the autism spectrum. The project formally concluded in 2021 and we are now conducting an evaluation of its impact. See also www.imageautism.com.
How can you participate?
We would like to know why you're planning to use one of the IMAGE resources. This will help us evaluate and improve these resources over time. There is an initial brief survey about your current situation and motivation. With your consent, we will contact you again in about a month and ask you to complete another brief survey.
Do you have to take part?
No. Participation is voluntary and based on your written consent and you can withdraw at any time until one month after you gave us your responses. You also have the right to ask for access to personal data relating to you, as well as requesting rectification or removal of such information, limitation of processing, or refusal of processing and the right to transfer information from one system to another. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you are not happy with how we handle your data. The contact for the UK is the Information Commissioner’s Office (
https://ico.org.uk/).
What we will do with your information
We will use your responses to evaluate the usefulness and impact of the IMAGE project resources. This is a long-term study and we will aggregate your information with that of many others. We will use this information, and insights we gain from it, in IMAGE project reports and academic papers. In any publications, your responses will be anonymised and you will not be personally identifiable.
Confidentiality and privacy protection
We will use your responses for the specified purposes only. Where we ask for your name or contact details, it is only to contact you again for the follow-up survey or interview. The survey responses and any other research data will be processed and stored securely by Leeds Beckett University, UK. It will be destroyed 3 years after the study has completed.
